Important announcement.
It is such a shame that we have to announce unfortunately, there have been many problems in the making of our first single ‘The Promise’. We were taken advantage of by a company who we believed were there to help us. They offered sponsorship in return for advertising, which they received, but unfortunately, problems associated with that company and their associates arose, which were beyond our control. Every effort was made on our part, to alleviate the issues brought to light by our sponsors. On in depth investigation, it was found that there were conflicts between third parties, who were all seeking financial gain without the charities receiving any monies.
There are suspicions that the rights to this song are being held by an unauthorised party, without permission. It is believed that all money from the sale of this single, via downloads, is being paid directly to a studio. We intended all money to go straight to both the supported charities (Afghan Heroes & Macmillan Nurses) but we feel like we have been ”duped” and severely let down.
On a plus side, we are now working on our Album, and are set to release our next single. We have spent the last 10 months writing new songs for our album. Our song’s are original – no covers. We also must stress that not all of our songs are about ‘Army Life’. The songs were written from the heart on various aspects of life and experiances. A huge thank you must go to everyone involved with our project so far, because without their kind support, and fantastic efforts, we would not be in the position we are now.
We are also pleased to announce that we are going to be donating proceeds from our album The Royal British Legion and MIND
We are also able to attend and perform at your events. Such as festivals, ceremony’s, charity fund raiser’s, home coming parades, anything at all. If you would like to book us, please contact stacey@singingforsoldiers.co.uk
Many Thanks for your continued support, it really does mean a lot to us.
